Description
Developed in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bomb- Making Materials Awareness Program (BMAP) Community Liaison Course, offered by the Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Protection and Programs Directorate’s Office of Infrastructure Protection, is designed to help participants develop outreach strategies and to provide guidance and materials for them to conduct outreach to industries and businesses within their jurisdiction to increase public and private sector awareness of homemade explosive (HME) precursor chemicals and improvised explosive device (IED) components.
