On 14 November 2022, at approximately 0930 hours local time, the Carabineros responded to a high school in Santiago after hooded suspects threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, from the building’s rooftop onto the street. No further details about the IIDs have been released and no injuries were reported. The Carabineros entered the school, seized 50 IIDs, masks and overalls, and arrested 12 suspects. Germany: Explosives Used in ATM Attack

The Shasta County and Butte County bomb squad units responded to assist and rendered the device safe. No further device details were provided. The 58-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possessing stolen property and being in possession of an explosive device.
