Argentina: IIDs Thrown During Protests

On 12 June 2024, protestors threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, and clashed with police following a vote by the Argentinian Senate on controversial legislation supported by the president. Cars were also set ablaze during the protests, and police officers deployed water cannons and tear gas to disperse protestors. Multiple individuals were injured during the event, including protestors, legislators, and police officers. At least 10 people were arrested in connection with the event.
