On 12 March 2023, at approximately 2000 hours local time, a large group of unidentified suspects threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, at a toll booth at the exit of Caceres and Caucasia, targeting the National Army of Colombia. Local firefighters arrived at the scene to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported, but the attack caused damage to the toll booth. No further device details have been released. On 9 March 2023, at approximately 0430 hours local time, Toledo Police Department officers responded to Freeman Street after unknown suspects threw an improvised incendiary device (IID), described as a Molotov cocktail, in between two residences starting a fire, and shot at residents when they went outside their homes to put out the fire. On 8 March 2023, at approximately 0600 hours local time, Civil Defense personnel and firefighters from the Alberdi Barracks responded to a residence in Bahía Blanca in Buenos Aires Province after an unknown suspect threw improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), described as Molotov cocktails, at a window starting a fire. No further device details have been released. The fire caused severe damage to the window, but no injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.
